Sobhiyata Śańgha ko samāchār was published by the Department of Information, Embassy of Soviet Socialist Republic in Kathmandu from 1961 AD. This paper was published by lithography and covered mainly the activities of former Soviet Union. Most of the articles are translated from the Soviet newspapers and some new articles are from the Nepalese students studying at former Soviet Union and communists of Nepal. The main focus of the newspaper seems to publicize the activities and achievements of the Soviet Union. Even this paper is said to be the bi-monthly newspaper, there is no regularity of publication. In many of the issues, the date of publication and the number of issue is also missing. |
