Even the title of Rastra Hit bi-weekly seems like a general newspaper, it is purely a literary periodical publication. This periodical started to publish from 2009 BS (1952 AD) and covers full of literary materials of historical and literary value. This newspaper has historical importance as well because the authors did not had much freedom to write and publish their literary works before 1950 and only after the democracy of 1950, authors got freedom to write and publish their works.
