Parbate is a weekly news paper published by the Brigade of the Gurkhas. This paper was published from Singapore and initially the content of the newspaper was written in the Roman English only. Later, few pages were given for the Nepali sections which included some learning texts in Nepali for the children of the Gurkha soldiers working on there. The main focus of the newspaper is the activity of the British Gurkha soldiers working in Singapore and other countries as well as some pages for news and some entertainment. |
