Bibliographic services
Over the past year, the bibliographic services unit has been continuing the work of retrospective conversion of bibliographic records into MARC 21. Since January 2010, it has also successfully customized some modules of Koha , (Open Source Integrated Library System), with plans to make it live in the near future, that serves bibliographic records in MARC standard. Currently, bibliographic records of monographs and periodicals are available online in non-standard format.
MPP has also started cataloguing digital contents using DSpace (Open Source Digital Content Manager). Some of the digital contents are available online. More will be made available online in future.
